Baby Spinach, Bacon and Crouton salad

An absolute favourite salad - loved by anyone who tries it.


And it's so easy!


It pairs perfectly with Blue Cheese Dressing.

 

Baby Spinach, Bacon and Crouton salad


Ingredients


  • baby spinach - 1x handful per person

  • 1 x pack of bacon bits

  • half a red onion

  • 3 slices of bread (or a bag of croutons)

  • olive olive

  • dried mixed herbs

  • Blue Cheese dressing



Method


  1. Clean the baby spinach and place on a dish

  2. In a pan, fry up the bacon with a little bit of olive oil.

  3. Remove the bacon from the pan once crispy and set a side to cool.

  4. Cut up the slices of bread into 9 squares and throw into the bacon fat with some dried herbs in the pan. Remove once crispy.

  5. Slice red onion into half moons.

  6. Place croutons, bacon and onion over the spinach.

  7. Serve with Blue Cheese dressing.
